Kohler Golf Academy, with guidance from the PGA Sports Academy, uses a fun, systematic approach to encourage long-term player development.

��

Offering four levels of instruction (Starter, Sport, Player, and Champion), the program focuses on five core elements to help youth learn, develop and practice skills to become better golfers and enjoy the sport of golf.

• Fitness and Nutrition
• Golf Skill Development
• Sportsmanship, Etiquette and Rules
• Golf and “Near Golf” Experiences
• Golf and Physical Assessments

All participants will be exposed to the fundamentals of golf including short game, long game, putting, rules and etiquette. To provide a safe and intimate teaching environment, each session will be limited to 20 students with a 5:1 student/teacher ratio. The objective of the program is for each child to learn to play golf and have fun in the process.

Playing Privileges for All Kohler Golf Academy Junior Participants

All junior participants will receive complimentary golf on the Meadow Valleys or Irish courses after 5pm, available June 8 – September 7, 2026, when accompanied by a paying adult.

Booking Policy

• 5pm or later – Adult Rate: $40 walking; $65 with golf car; Junior Rate: complimentary
• 3 to 4:50pm – Adult Rate: $75 walking; $100 with golf car; Junior Rate: $40 walking
• The Baths, before noon – Adult Rate: $25 walking; Junior Rate: complimentary
• Tee Times must be booked through Central Reservations () and can be reserved a maximum 3 days in advance.

Starter Level (Parent & Child)

The Starter Level of the Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors Program is a four-week session in June, and July taught by PGA golf professionals at Whistling Straits. This level of golf instruction is recommended for juniors ages 4–6 just starting the game of golf. Parents will participate with the child during each session.

The program includes:

• Four hours of golf instruction from 4–5pm on Tuesdays in June (16, 23, 30), July (7)
• Sessions located at Whistling Straits
• Skills Event on Sunday, July 19 at Whistling Straits (Tee Times Begin at 3pm)
• Banquet on Sunday, July 19 at Whistling Straits Irish Barn (4:30pm)

Sport Level

The Sport Level of the Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors Program is a one-week camp or four-week session in June and July taught by PGA golf professionals at Whistling Straits. This level of golf instruction is recommended for juniors at a beginner skill level with limited golf experience. Recommended for juniors ages 6–9.

The program includes:

• Six hours of golf instruction from 5:30–7pm
• Sessions located at Whistling Straits
• Three-hole tournament on Saturday, July 18 at Blackwolf Run (Tee Times Begin at 3:45pm)
• Banquet on Sunday, July 19 at Whistling Straits Irish Barn (5:30pm)

Recommended for juniors ages 10–12.

• Nine-hole tournament on Saturday, July 18 at Blackwolf Run, The Baths Course (Tee Times Begin at 10am)
• Banquet on Sunday, July 19 at Whistling Straits (5:30pm)

The Champion Level of the Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors Program is an eight-week session in June, July and August taught by PGA golf professionals at Blackwolf Run or Whistling Straits. This level of golf instruction is recommended for juniors ages 13–17 with an advanced skill level. This level is designed for juniors looking to play high school golf.

The program includes:

• 14 hours of golf instruction from 5:30–7:30pm on Wednesdays in June (10, 17, 24), July (1, 8, 15, 22)
• All Sessions located at Whistling Straits
• 10-hole tournament – Sunday, July 26 at The Baths of Blackwolf Run (Tee Times Begin at 10:00am)
• Awards, Snacks and Drinks following the 10-hole tournament

Open Practice Sessions

$25 per session
All Kohler Golf Academy for Junior participants are invited to open practice sessions which will be supervised by Kohler Golf Academy instructors at an 8:1 student/teacher ratio.

The open practice sessions include:

• 1.5 hours of open practice from 10:30am–Noon on��most Fridays in June and July (see session dates below) at Whistling Straits����
• Hotdog or brat, chips or pretzels and a beverage
